Meet your guide at the hotel lobby, and head to Thailand's' most sacred place “The Grand Palace”. Within the palace complex there are several buildings including Wat Phra Kaew, which contains the greatly revered Emerald Buddha, dating back to the 14th century.
The palace was once a royal residence. Thai kings stopped living there around the turn of the twentieth century, but the palace complex is still used for convening all kinds of ceremonies and auspicious events.
Not far from the Grand Palace is Wat Pho. This is the largest and oldest temple in Bangkok, with the largest single Buddha image, the Reclining Buddha (Phra Buddhasaiyas).
The temple is also known as Wat Phra Chetuphon or The Temple of the Reclining Buddha. It is also regarded as the birthplace of traditional Thai massage.
Take a break and have lunch at a local restaurant before taking a water taxi to visit the legendary Wat Arun, also known as The Temple of Dawn. This is one of the best-known landmarks and one of the most published images of Bangkok.
After seeing Wat Arun, board a long-tail boat on the Chao Phraya River and you will pass by temples, riverbank markets and ordinary neighbourhoods.
Return to your hotel for a good night’s rest.
Floating markets are a special sight you can only witness in SE Asia and above all, Damnoen Saduak Floating Market is known for its large scale and interestingly chaotic vibes.
Drive out of Bangkok in the morning for about 1 1/2 hours to reach the famous floating market. You will see countless boats selling all kinds of merchandise, ranging from local snakes to household supplies.
After lunch at a nearby local restaurant, you will be taken to the airport. Fly north to Chiang Mai. The flight duration is about an hour.
Relax in your private car on the way from the airport to your hotel in downtown Chiang Mai. Enjoy some leisure time in this lovely graceful town.
In the afternoon around 4 pm, you will meet with your guide and driver at the hotel lobby. Drive to the festival venue (Mae Jo University) and enjoy premium access to your seats.
After enjoying the celebration, your tour guide and driver will escort you back to the hotel at around 10 pm (the exact time will be advised).
Yi Peng Festival celebration, Mae Jo location or Cowboy Riding Club location
This is a festival in Chiang Mai where locals make lanterns that float up into the evening sky. The evening festivities will include a gala dinner at Mae Jo University. Enjoy a buffet dinner while watching thousands upon thousands of lanterns pepper the sky overhead.
We'll release our own lanterns into the sky along with those of many Thai people. The lanterns are believed to impart good luck to the ones who release them. Then watch the local festivities.

Begin this exciting day sitting among locals at a local temple, ready for the morning alms-giving. Monks from all temples and monasteries in Chiang Mai process round the town every early morning, receiving food from local people. Donating food is regarded an important act for individual karma, believed to affect one's future circumstances and environment.
After this, you will visit the bustling Warorot Market and Ton Lamyai Flower Market, where the festival heat is hyped up as the big time approaches.
Would you like a special dining experience? You will be invited to a local farmer's house. Slurp delicious hand-made noodles and chat with the host.
Move to Old Town of Chiang Mai, which is actually constructed around a massive temple complex, consisting of three temples Wat Chedi Luang, Wat Chiang Man and Wat Phra Singh. These three temples represent different styles, and you will have a chance to chat with the monks living there.
Transfer back to your hotel and enjoy a restful night.
You will be picked up at your hotel lobby around 8:30 am, for departure from Chiang Mai by local truck. Please remember to bring a change of clothes (you will get dirty/wet), sunscreen, a hat, a camera, and mosquito repellant.
En route you will enjoy views of local villages, temples, and the beautiful scenic Lanna countryside.
Stopping at Maewang local market after around 50-minutes’ drive, you will pick up your picnic lunch and prepare some food for the elephants.
Upon arrival atMaewang Elephant Conservation Camp, you will be greeted with warm hospitality by Karen staff. You will need to change into your mahout’s outfit. This can be taken home after the activities are finished.
The staff will share with you about the elephants, their backgrounds, and general instructions on how to take care of them. After that, you will be told how to feed the elephants with herbs. Enjoy your picnic lunch and have a short time to relax.
The highlight is having an easy trek in the forest (around 40 minutes) with your elephant to hunt for some delicious sugarcane. This is their favorite treat.
Say goodbye to these lovely friends and return to your hotel to rest.
