We did a two week trip with Asia Highlights to Tokyo, Nikko, Hakone, Takayama, Kanazawa, Kyoto, Osaka and a private side trip to Koyasan. There is no way I can summarize all the good things we experienced in Japan from the food, the cultural shows, the nation's natural beauty, the sense of service by Japanese and more. For those considering a tour with Asia Highlights I cannot recommend them enough. The two words I'd use to describe them are "flexibility" and "service".

Our guide Slash was wonderful! So considerate about making sure we were safe and comfortable and had our tickets in hand. He was always in a good mood and patient with questions. We would definitely recommend his services and give him high marks for representing his country. Great time

As a family of 4 our guide Johnny Lau, made the effort to acomódate to all of our needs during the visit. Johnny provided excellent explanations of the sites visited, accounted for the needs of all of my family needs while visiting the different sites. He also accommodated modifications to the tour as requested by us. The vehicle was always clean and in time and the drivers where very nice as well. Johnny provided solutions to all of the needs during our visits, one example was when we needed to visit the beach our group didn’t have towels so he searched for a place for us to buy what we needed. Johnny was also ver respectful on guiding us guidance and space for our free time on the tour, searching for the restaurants that fitted our taste and picking us on time after lunch. The serví was simply great.

When our wonderful guide Allan Tan and our Driver Yoshida pick us up we were relieved. The experience was superb we did not have a single problem. Everything was taken care of for us and there was never the slightest stressor in doing everything we dreamed of in n Japan. Allan Tan And Yoshida were always polite, prompt, and professional.

We started planning our trip to Japan 7 months prior to departure. We have contacted several travel companies. Asia Highlights was on our top place. Bert from Asia Highlights contacted me and was incredible accommodating, knowledgeable and very helpful. Everything from airport pick up to hotel check in and tour guides interaction. Was flawless. I would highly recommend Bert from Asia Highlights for your Asia trips!

Claire was our coordinator in the travel itinerary - she was able to reduce cost where we requested and everything was perfectly arranged. the hotels, the travel/train tickets, the international flight from Japan to China, the tour guides, the private transportation. Every second was well organized and accommodations were wonderful! I loved the tour guide at each city location and they were so knowledgable, kind and accommodating.

We just returned from 16 days in Asia - six in Japan and 10 in China. As experienced global travelers, this excursion planned by Alisa at Asia Highlights was top-notch. From arriving in Tokyo to leaving Hong Kong, our trip was seamless and included everything we wanted - combining the must-sees with the hyperlocal.

This was my second trip with Asia/ China Highlights and I am so glad that I chose them again. Claire was very communicative when planning the trip and included a couple of experiences I had wanted to do.

My absolute favorite city is Kyoto and we were lucky that we got a very knowledgeable and very good English speaking tour guide, Lia. She customized our itinerary and made changes to fit with our family laid back style- for context, we traveled with 2 elders and 2 kids (6 and 11 y.o).

Sharon from Asia highlights did a fantastic job with our personal 11 day tour of Japan. She clarified important details promptly and addressed problems immediately. The guides and drivers were very good. We were able to relax and just enjoy our trip. Highly recommended.

Yeliz Wong was our advisor at Asia Highlights for our 10 day tour of Japan. She was well organized, always reachable by Whatsapp and gave insightful and helpful recommendations for our itinerary, and made changes as necessary. Yeliz was very responsive and updated us on any changes to our itinerary. Yeliz facilitated refunds for missed excursions due to scheduling issues. We highly recommend her for her professionalism and attention to detail.

We have received excellent customer services from Claire in Asia Highlights. She responded very promptly to each and every one of our requests. She promptly provided us her proposed travel itinerary exactly as we have requested initially, and subsequently provide an actual customer for us to speak with as a reference about actual customer experiences.

Our 17 day Journey thru Japan and China, arranged by Sharon was super. The up front communication with her was very easy despite our time differences. She went out of her way to talk when it was convenient for us.

All my requests were answered in very short time, even on weekends. Yeliz made a big effort to plan the perfect trip for me

Our guides in Japan - Mori, Urakami, Yuko and Naoki were awesome. We were able to see more than what we expected. Mr.Kim in South Korea was a fountain of information. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip. It was a once in a lifetime experience and Asia highlights made it memorable. I highly recommend them and will be booking my next trip with them. Huge shout out to Monica. I am so glad and lucky we got her as our coordinator.

Nina and Lyo went out of their way to show us the highlights of each of the attractions and destinations we visited. They quickly recognized our interests and would not rush us when we wanted to take extra time. Outside of our tour schedule, Nina helped us make dinner reservations and placed some meal orders for us when we encountered language challenges. Overall we had a wonderful time and highly recommend the services of Asia Highlights.

I had Albee as my family’s tour operator for our trip to Japan. She was so efficient, friendly and terribly professional that I decided to ask her to help me and my friends for our South Korean trip. As expected she was so dependable, answering questions rapidly, adjusting the itinerary numerous times and being very friendly about it.

Monica helped us plan the best trip. We were able to see four different cities and do numerous excursions. We were able to mix in a variety of guided days alongside flexible free days. All in all, we came to Japan with a huge list of to do items and were able to pack all of them in within the less than two weeks we had here.

I worked with Bert and he was super helpful in helping me plan a honeymoon trip to Japan. I have wanted to visit Japan for a really long time but the idea of planning a whole trip and taking in all Japan has to offer sounded like a huge amount of work and research. This planning experience took all those nerves away. I got both a summery of the trip and very detailed review of all the places on the itinerary. They have multiple ways to communicate, I choose to communicate by email. Bert was very professional and polite. Quick responses and follow up emails were sent to keep me on track with planning.
