Normally the full-day guided tour starts from 9 am and ends around 5 pm. Your preferences design the real journey. The days, stops, and travel pace can be adjusted. We're ready to create a unique Sri Lanka trip for you.
Our chauffeur-guide will meet you at the arrivals hall and take you to your hotel in Kandy, which takes around 3½ hours.
- Go to the Royal Palace of Kandy to explore the regal past of Sri Lanka. Kandy was the last capital of the kingdom of Sri Lanka (from 1469 to 1815) and currently serves as a major religious and cultural center.
- Adjacent to the palace is 'Temple of the Tooth', which houses a sacred tooth relic of the Buddha. This temple is an integral part of the palace complex and attracts thousands of pilgrims and tourists.
- Drop into a beautiful little local home built in the 1970's where your host will teach you the art of Sri Lankan cooking and all the stories related to the food they eat.
- Stop on the way from Kandy to Nuwara Elliya, admire the natural beauty and take some photos at Ramboda Falls.
- Visit Pedro Tea Factory, and explore the tea making process from plucking to packaging, enjoy tea tasting sessions, and take in the breathtaking views of the surrounding plantations.
- Indulge in the serene beauty of Gregory Lake, where peace and tranquility merge with picturesque surroundings.
- Hike on Horton Plains to explore the park's unique ecosystem and witness its natural wonders. The trail continues to World's End and Baker's Falls, where you can enjoy more beautiful vistas and a refreshing waterfall.
- Take a scenic train from Nuwara Eliya to Ella, then your chauffeur-guide will drive you to Udawalawe.
- Starte the day with a jeep safari in Udawalawe National Park early in the morning, around 6:00 AM. This is an active time for the park's abundant wildlife, particularly elephants, making it ideal for wildlife spotting.
- Stroll through Galle's old town, meandering along narrow streets and alleys that evoke Sri Lanka's colonial era vibe, transporting you to a bygone time.
- Near sunset, you can witness the ethereal sight of fishermen perched on stilts against the scenic backdrop of the ocean.
Day 6 is an unscheduled day of leisure, when you can simply relax at your hotel's private beach or engage in water sports. As a popular beach destination, Galle offers many breathtaking beaches, including Unawatuna Beach, Jungle Beach, and Dewata Beach.
